Taylor, Senior 2014

This summer has been absolutely great so far (which is probably why I’ve been such a failure at blogging). We kicked off the summer with a family cookout where about 20 or so family members gathered at my grandparents’ house for some food, laughter & more food. ¬†One of the best parts was seeing family members who live so far out of the area.

Taylor comes from Orlando, FL & we usually only see her & her family when we visit Disney World, but this time she came to us! I was so excited to photograph Taylor – she’s beautiful on the inside & the out!

Waiting on Tanner

Megan + Mark

I went to high school with Megan, we were on yearbook staff together. She was the editor & I was a photographer (surprise!). Megan always joked that when she got married, I would be her photographer. When she went of the Marshall, she met Mark, then Mark proposed & now she doesn’t have to joke – I am her wedding photographer!

While at their shoot, I asked them how the two met since they’re both from Parkersburg. They had actually never met while living in Parkersburg, but when they arrived at Marshall, they started noticing each other at the rec. Eventually, they started talking & now these two natives to Parkersburg are getting married. Megan joked that she had to go all the way to Huntington to find a man from back home.
