Brittany + Mario

Brittany & Mario are fantastic together. I’m sure as individuals they are just as lovely, but together they make quite the dynamic couple. They’re funny, they’re intelligent & they’re photogenic! However, what I noticed about them the most is how much they love each other. It’s ¬†obvious in the photos below – these two are crazy about one another. Oh, & check out this location – I was totally drooling over it.

Jenn, Senior 2013

Sometimes, everything just goes right. The lighting is perfect, the person you’re photographing is as sweet as can be (not to mention gorgeous), the locations are beautiful and everything just works. It’s days like these that I *really* love my job. Jenn’s session took place in historic downtown Marietta with beautiful old buildings and river scenes lighting up the background of her session. We were hoping for nice weathers since we’ve been battling the rain lately & Mother Nature certainly delivered. We had a beautiful overcast sky to shoot under and it was just the perfect temperature. I could rave about this session all day, but I think I’ll just show you the images now.

Joey, Senior 2013

Joey is a senior this year at Belpre High School. His session was so much fun – we shot around Belpre High, moved to the baseball field and then to Point Park. As you might be able to tell, the baseball field was my favorite location – it’s so fun to be able to do something a little different for senior photos.

Aren’t those just awesome, though?

Michelle, Dylan & Caleb

The first pretty day we had this year, I got to photograph this lovely family. They might look familiar to you. Dylan, the tallest one wearing green, is my fiance/second shooter at weddings. Which obviously makes Michelle & Caleb my future in-laws – which is awesome, I love them. We did this lifestyle shoot mostly in their house & then moved to a train track ¬†location in downtown Parkersburg. Through this post, I’ve included some outtakes from their session – they laughed the entire time. Sometimes, I think its the photos like that which are the most real, the ones that everyone will treasure for years to come.¬†

Miss Madison

Anyone who was out in this gorgeous weather we were experiencing today can testify that it was a bit blustery. Usually, wind leads to funny faces, messed up hair and squinty eyes. Not today, friends, not today. It turns out that Madison loves the wind and it makes her laugh – a lot! We got lucky with the beautiful weather today and I hope next time you find yourself out in a particularly windy day, you can have as much fun as Madison did.
